| Collision Damage Waiver: |
Collision Damage Waiver : Collision Damage Waiver and Personal Liability Insurance are sold as a package in Costa Rica. The customer is fully responsible for any loss or damage to the rental vehicle, regardless of cause. Where collision damage waiver ( CDW ) is offered, accepted and paid for by the customer, for an additional daily charge, Payless waives all or part ( as indicated on the rental agreement ) of the customer`s liability for damages to the vehicle provided the terms and conditions of the rental agreement are not violated. |
If at the time of the rental, if the customer can not present proof of coverage for loss or damage to the rental vehicle, he/she may be required to purchase CDW as a condition of rental. International travelers should be prepared to present valid proof of conforming coverage including a description of coverage of the rental vehicle. |

| Gas Policies: |
| All vehicles are rented with a full tank of gasoline and must be returned full. Pre-paid fuel options are available. Please check at rental counter for details. |
| Geographical Restrictions: |
| Vehicle permitted in Costa Rica only. Vehicles are not permitted in rivers and beaches. |
| Grace Period: |
| Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace
period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will
apply from minute one. |
| Hold Policy: |
It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available for a period of up to two hours after the scheduled arrival time with the exception of any reservations confirmed for pickup within the last hour of operation. For those reservations the vehicle will be held for one hour that day and the first hour of operation the following day. It is the customer?s responsibility to notify our reservation center at 1-800-Payless or the location directly of any delays prior to the time of arrival. This will ensure that the location continues to hold the vehicle. Failure to do so will result in the release of the vehicle. |

One way rentals are permitted to all Costa Rica locations. The one way rental fees are as follows. Between December 1 - April 14 will be $50. Between April 15 - November 30 will be $30. |
